With the rulebooks in hand and finally being able to peruse the factions, we should post what we're leaning towards (or committing to) so we can try and have a good variety for gaming, and help others decide if they are on the fence between a couple.
I know from a previous post, Ski-man picked up UCM (for him) and Scourge (for his cousin).
Any others yet?

I want to read my book first, before making a choice. I am leaning toward PHR or Shaltari.

PHR or Scourge...
While Scourge are best for my lack of painting skills the PHR have walkers and arty...you cant argue with that combo.

I know from a previous post, Ski-man picked up UCM (for him) and Scourge (for his cousin). Any others yet? Update: My cousin and I per-ordered separately because he couldn't make up his mind about some extra units he wanted at the time. I was committed to get my order in ASAP. I called him last night to ask if he got his order (as I got mine last Friday), and found out he never placed an order! When I asked him if he was going to still order, he hemmed and hawed. As much as he says he 'wants' to play miniature games, he just hasn't committed yet. Even if he had, I'm not sure what his availability for frequent gaming, including MAOW meets, would be, as he travels much. So, in short, he does not have Scourge.

Although I find the UCM air units quite sexy, I might lean towards the Scourge.

I did it. After selling quite a few things on ebay, I just purchased the Premium Large Shaltari army from Hawk. Their bundle deal is actually a lot cheaper than buying from The Warstore in parts. Go me!

Heard back from FRP, they have not started shipping to stores yet only doing their online orders. They are being told at least another 4-6 weeks before they can ship
Canceled my order, will reorder if they ever get their product moving.

So you ordered to a store and not the website? It was actually cheaper that way.
On a related note, stuff is starting to show up on ebay

It was cheaper because of FRP's discount and lower cost on shipping.
Obviously the down side being you have no idea when the project will show up.
Oh well, will use that money else where.

Well I was bribed not to cancel my order by FRP they threw in a few extra models and bumped my shipping to NBD and then credited me shipping that I did pay for so good on them.
Not that it was their fault, but nice to see they want to keep customers.
Should have my toys today...YAY

My desk is about clear of my Gears, so I will do my best. My building should be in soon as well and will try and have them ready too.
