Well, I've got to sit down and finish up all those half-written articles on my Blog. In the meantime, here are some pics of some recent Dark-Age minis I've been working on.
Saint Johann, the Heretic (aka The Scorpion Saint)
Skarrd Cult of Blood - Harpies
I have so many Harpies that I decided to paint this batch to specifically fit in with my growing Cult of Blood subfaction.
Skarrd Buzzblades
These are the old style (30mm base size) Buzzblades who have been replaced by their giant brothers (40mm base size) who are also used as Charity's Might and Zeal.
Skarrd Cult of Blood - Blood Maidens
Skarrd Cult of Blood - Tribal Father
Since I had 2 of the same Tribal Fathers, I decided to paint this one to fit in with the Cult of blood. Those long fingers were just asking to be dripping in blood.
Bounty Hunter - Blaze
This is a discontinued model from the Dark Age - Exodus expansion (1st edition rules). She was never continued on. I really sort of liked her background history.
Forsaken - Haniels
These are the old sculpt Haniels, the new ones are much more dynamic sculpts.
Forsaken - Clergy Ann
I like these models, but I wish they'd done more poses.
Forsaken - Strikes
Some of the most powerful of the common core Forsaken troop types.
Forsaken - Shades
Yep, ninjas with assless chaps.
Forsaken Deathstryke and Bangers
The Banges have been discontinued and replaced by Deathstryke, who comes with an alternate masked head to portray a standard Banger.
Forsaken Banes
The backbone, and IMHO the most economical Forsaken troop type out there.
Skarrd Raze
I never liked the original static sculpt, but when this one came out I had to get it.
Skarrd Cult of Toxin - Father Curwen
I'm really happy the way this guy turned out.
Skarrd - Golab
I really like this model. The other pose fits the concept art of a not-too bright cyborg giant. This one makes it look like a warrior.
Skarrd Cult of Toxin - Toxic Mistresses
One of my favorite Skarrd units. Very nasty.
Skarrd Cult of Toxin - Kaustic
Very deadly in close combat.
Skarrd - Sister of Charity and Charity's Zeal
Don't let the size fool you, these guys are pretty cheap and fold easier than you expect when hit. But they're damn cheap and close the distance quick.
Skarrd - Sister of Charity and Charity's Might
Also don't let the size fool you. But they do hit pretty hard.
Skarrd Army
My recent Skarrd work.
