Hello. Orge44 brought me here. I live in Center Line and I'm a geek.
I play lots of stuff. My father played ACW with me when I was young. But sadly I haven't had much time or figures to do much miniature gaming now that I've gotten (much) older.
I would love to learn lots of miniature games even if I don't have the figures.
Currently I have way too much CMG Mechwarrior and have started getting into Gruntz and collecting 15mm Sci-Fi figures. Silent Death and a casefull of figures. Want to try some smaller scale spaceship games (or custom Battleship Galaxies armies)
Other than that it's tons of boardgames, CCGs, some PC games and (pen and paper) RPGs.

hello every one iv been playing DnD for over 20 years , and I started playing warhammer about 14 years ago 40k and fantasy altho over the years i sold my tau, and necron armies , recently iv started playing again with my wife and got the fantasy started set with the skaven and high elves relearning the rules for warhammer , and wanting to get back into 40k as well
Armies i own now from fantasy are a rather large vampire count army from the good ol days a decent sized skaven army and the starter army for high elves
for 40k i have a few of the metal cast tyranids hq and hero wise id need to get the units again to make this army usable
also have some tau and dark elder units i collected over the years to paint and sell or trade
glad i could find a group to join sence being married i havent had much of a chance to get out and do some of my old hobbies looking forward to meeting some new people

Greetings and Salutations, my name is Kenn and I have just now gotten into miniature gaming. I just moved into the area in Clinton Township and picked up my first army. Looking forward to starting up this hobby and always happy to hear advice on how best to proceed. I have only one 40k game under my belt and enjoyed it a lot. I really enjoy the hobby side of the game as it gives me something to do after assembling and painting my models other than my wuife asking me when I am going to get rid of them, hah! The closest gaming center to me is Gamers Guild on Hall road. I am hoping to get the time to swing on down to RIW tomorrow for a game. Happy gaming.
Warhammer 40K ORKS - they bring the WAAAGH!!

> SB. Thanks for the welcome! > gabus I could field about 1800 points in orks right now. I just finished assembling my ork biker nobz so its good to go. My only game played is under 6 th edition rules so at least I do not have any.habits to unlearn. My wife reminded me we have a motorcycle run tomorrow so I won't get down to riw but I am hoping to make the.next one as well as meeting some people at Gamers Guild for some close to home fun. For anyone in the market for warhammer 40 or fantasy the train hobby store in Utica sells warhammer for 20% off the top and if you order on Wednesday it will be in on Friday. Lessened the blow on the pocketbook considerably as I just bought my entire army in the last 2 months. Hope to get something going here in North Metro so if you are interested let me know and we can get it on. Thanks for this awesome bastion of nerdiness.
