Can someone check and see if we still have the place available? We typicly lose the space in july for one reason or another.
I will have 40k, and warmachine in tow.
I could be convinced to try another system as well.

I've been itching for a game of Dark Age, just to get ready for this big massive multi-player event at Gen Con and even get to try out some of my recently finished Dust stuff, but the Supreme Commander has pretty much booked all my weekends until Gen Con.

I'll be there. Netrunner and various games. Probably stock my car full of board games, I s'pose.
Glenn and I are meeting at Gest EARLIER since several people have to bail early in the day. We'll be there at 10:00 am.

So I had a great game vs Gabus in WM/H. Got to beat the snot out of the Cryx before he got a crazy assassination via typical Cryx Ghostwalk BS. Great game. I also had alot of fun in the team 40K game. Double daemons vs Guard and Dark Angels (we all know they are really traitors and wannabes ). We ended up getting wiped out, but we didn't leave much behind to celebrate. Further, I really enjoyed the new scoring system. We scored 10 VPs to their 7VPs, but they made up those 3 with mission-standard warlord, first blood, and line breaker. In other words, a close loss, nearly a tie. And this is in spite of Glenn's silly ability to roll 5+ on 60% of his dice. While crying about my 2-wound, T3 character that hampered his rats for one whole turn.... Next month is August, so thoughts about Not Gen Con?

Warmachine was great. So lucky to pull off that assasination run.
2 on 2 warhammer was awesome too. Good banter across the tables. The new summining really gives that relentless feel to the daemons.
Rob, Dave, and I played Thunderstone to cap off the night. First deck builder ive ever played and it was pretty neat. Needs a couple more playes to wrap my head around strategy, but game mechanics are pretty easy.
See some of you next month.

I always have fun with Thunderstone. Even though I pulled out a win (against noobs, I'm not bragging here), it's really impressive to see both you and Rob pick it up so quickly. Seriously. And Rob's a g'damn savant. He can store information in his head better than me, that's for sure.
I also got to play Kurt some Netrunner early in the day. I love that damned game more every time I play it, figure out more every time I play it, and appreciate it more, too. Most MtG games I've played (and I've played more than my share), everything sort of gravitates to several top tier decks archetypes and the others are never as good. Netrunner really equalizes everything better than it's apparent at first. Each side of the equation and each faction has their own flavor but still can compete. I even cobbled together an experimental deck type that ended up winning pretty much spot-on how I wanted it to. Fun stuff.
I've been talking to Gabus about Hell Dorado and Dox about Dark Age. In the months following Gen Con I hope to get both games on the table with these doofs and anyone else that'd like to try them out.

I had a great time also. The Necrons decided the Eldar really needed to die. Thunderstone is a fun game. I would pick it up myself except for the fact that I would want to put sleeves on all the cards.
