Well I almost lost it upon arrival, as I dropped almost $300 at the Cool Mini or Not booth on new Dark Age models alone within the first half hour of arriving. The new Prevailers are awesome, pretty much a variant of Forsaken but have some limited psychogenic abilities. The new models for the Prevailers are stunning and I really love the new releases for the Slaves of Chain Barrows. I ended up getting a better grip on myself afterwards, and stayed away from that booth for the rest of the show.
I didn't get too many games in this year, most of the ones I wanted were booked because I was in Mexico when registraton started. My painting metallics course was cancelled. So I ended up playing playing Battletech Alpha Strike, which I didn't care for. Then got in a game of Retro Raygun.
Friday night I ran my AE-WWII Pacific Theater game. It was a blast, and the table got lots of attention from passersby.
Saturday night was a game of Dark Age, where 6 of us fought against Mr. Black. The seige was going well, until people started accepting bribes from Mr. Black. Once he started handing out $50-60 kits, we were stabbing each other in the back and it turned into a free for all bloodfest for free minis.

Yeah, throughout the game, Mr. Black was passing notes to each of us, granting us special abilities (like airstrikes and such) and offers to be rewarded if we used them on an ally. The Forsaken St. Mary player used his airstike to destroy one of Mr. Black's Strike squads that endangered my Skarrd army (very uncharacteristically if you are familiar with the fluff), so Mr. Black posts a note on the castle wall with St. Mary's name on it, stating their is now a bounty on St. Mary. Later my Blazon had a bounty on her head when her Hit and Run enhanced Harpies tore up Mr. Black's harpies and Banes.
My Skarrd army ended the game when the castle gates opened and Mongo came out and stomped on my Tribal Father. I and a CORE ally jumped him and took the giant down ending the game.
In the end, I got a new Toxic Abomination model and The Warden. We did some horse trading after the game. I trded the Abomination for a CORE Churgeon and The Warden for Hood, The Executioner (because I already purchased The Warden on Thursday).
